Sound Bath Preparation Recommendations
We are happy to welcome you to a Sound Bath at our enchanting Divine Sound, Palm Desert location. Our team is dedicated to guiding you through an effortless meditative journey, rejuvenating and balancing your energy through sound waves.
Your session, lasting around 90 minutes, will be a haven of relaxation. All you need to do is lay down and focus on your breath. Consider setting an intention for your meditation beforehand to guide your transformative journey.
While we provide plush cushions and blankets to maximize your comfort, we recommend dressing in something casual – perhaps yoga attire or your favorite pajamas.
Preparing for Your Sound Bath:
- Before your sound bath, please have each member of your group read our disclaimer and sign the waiver at the bottom of this page.
- An eye mask helps to deepen your immersion and auditory focus by blocking outside light. We offer complimentary masks to borrow, and a variety of options if you wish to purchase your own.
- It’s best to avoid heavy meals just before. Let your body digest for a few hours prior.
- Reduce caffeine and refrain from alcohol the day of – to aid relaxation and a deeper connection to the sound bath experience.
- We advise bringing a water bottle. We also serve complimentary refreshments.
Feel free to document your experience with photos and videos before the sound bath, but please be sure your phone is powered off during the meditation to keep the ambiance uninterrupted.
Refunds
At Divine Sound, we understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your sound bath session, that’s ok! We do, however, kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice, as our setup is intricate and requires significant preparation. Please note that while we do not offer refunds, we are happy to provide store credit for future use. Thank you for your understanding and support!
